Steven is an architect and writer who has a way of seeing the world a little differently to most. At a time when people are looking for something different, he presents a change in the way we see and appreciate people and places by challenging perceptions of social and architectural norms. With more than 25 years of Australian and International experience in the architectural industry, he has worked with an impressive array of professionals and has contributed to the design and delivery of many significant community and commercial projects. He believes in the value of our built environment to improve personal and social outcomes through a ‘people-centred’ practice, with an awareness of the ability architecture brings in reflecting values of place and time. Steven’s professional approach uses strong conceptual and sustainable objectives, he is agile, curious and collaborative. His leadership roles in a number of practices has enabled his industry profile to grow and relationships to deepen. Whilst his experience in directing a number of high profile city shaping projects provide him with extensive experience in client relationships and design partnerships. In addition to his professional work, Steven has volunteered on numerous industry and community groups, has written for publications and journals, and maintains an account of his experiences at the intersection of people and places.

Kath has amassed an incredibly varied portfolio. Firstly as a sound designer/audio engineer working at sound houses, recording studios and broadcast networks all over the world. In the process, she has collaborated with some super talented folk and created some supreme sound tracks for not only film & TV (including films screened at Tropfest, Flickerfest, SFF, Palm Springs and more), but also award winning advertising & digital media/gaming platforms. In the process, she has developed a reputation as being one of Australia’s leading Sound Designers. For the past 17 years, she has been the Senior Sound Designer of a boutique music and sound company, Noise International. Spending her days there surrounded by talented musicians, composers, writers and directors, creating art to inspires. She is now on project-based work. With anyone from agencies, sound houses, production companies, broadcast networks and independent creatives and film makers. On anything from advertising, film, audiobooks, podcasts, digital platforms, experiential creative projects and live events. And for a few years was the Operations Manager for a top tier vocal school in Sydney. Apolaustic Productions is now her passion, as it's allowing her to use all the years and years of industry experience to create meaningful content, telling stories that need to be told!
